Video Platform
Our live lessons are held on Google Meet, allowing us to use a variety of engaging tools.
Pupils can communicate directly with their teacher through 'chat blasts' and the use of their microphone
We encourage collaborative learning through breakout sessions where pupils work together in small groups with the support of their teacher
During lessons, pupils complete classwork using a variety of integrated, interactive tools so they can receive feedback in real-time
Teaching Platform
We use Goggle Workspace as our virtual learning environment, where pupils can access their live lessons. This platform has a wide range of benefits to our pupils:
Pupils have easy access to their live lessons and can also complete independent learning assignments and catch up on previous lessons

Online Safety
Keeping children safe and engaged online is of paramount importance at Meta School of Excellence. We ensure that our platforms are only accessible to pupils enrolled at Read Meta School and take active measures to prevent unauthorised access to live lessons and learning platforms.
Online safety is embedded in our curriculum to build a community of learners who are well versed in the online space and have the tools to protect themselves online.
Virtual Reality
Read Meta School will be introducing a whole new concept in educational technology with the use of Virtual Reality headsets that have integrations with our curriculum and provides students with virtual interfaces, controls and educational resources.
We believe that there is so much potential for bringing the curriculum to life using virtual and augmented reality experiences, from visiting far-flung corners of the world to holding the human heart in your hands. We will keep our families updated as we continue our technology development and embark on this innovative VR programme rollout.
Read Meta School recommend using a Google Chromebook for a secure learning experience
Chromebooks laptops are designed for cloud learning and are developed for daily online learning in Google Workspace apps.
Read Meta School of Excellence would recommend all students to use a Chromebook for a seamless education experience using Google Workspace. We also offer the complete management of the device through Google Workspace, providing the extra security and policies. This provides parents the reassurance that their child is secure when they working on a device. Meta School would cover the costs for all Google device management policies.
Through our partnership with C-leaning, Parents can purchase a Chromebook at a discounted rate through a dedicated parent purchase portal.
Making the web safer for students
Parents who opt to purchase a Chromebook will be offered Securly web filtering for their child’s home browsing safety for free. Read Meta School takes student digital security seriously and provides parents the extra support in keeping them safe.
Using Securly we keep students safe on all devices, with Securly’s signature cloud-based web filter. Our safeguarding team gets full visibility into online activity, download or email reports, and receives notifications for flagged content with the most sophisticated AI engine in student safety.
